We are excited to announce, that after a few months of developing our own IP, we have been commissioned by Cbeebies, to create a suite of online games for our new pre-school 2D-animated brand Tee and Mo.

Aimed at a dual audience of 2-4 year olds and their caregivers, Tee and Mo revolves around the daily adventures of an unstoppable baby monkey, Tee, and his first-time mum, Mo. The goal is to explore everyday situations through the point of view of the bond between little children and new mums, and how they both learn to be kids and mums day by day, together. The brand’s light-hearted approach reflects this most fundamental of all relationships with the opportunity to facilitate genuine sharing opportunities that lead to caregiver and child bonding both on and off screen.

The playful problem-solving and teamwork at the heart of Tee and Mo lends itself perfectly to interactive play and we’ll be creating a suite of narrative-driven digital toys for desktop and mobile for the CBeebies commission. Each activity will be designed as a two-player experience, encouraging toddler and grown-up to form a team and stimulating imaginative play via a shared interactive experience.

Our Creative Director, Dom said of the project; “Plug-in Media has a wealth of experience in creating and developing interactive digital entertainment for children and families. We have always prided ourselves on producing exceptional interactive content for other people’s brands and this has spurred us on to take our next strategic step as a company and start creating original IP such as Tee and Mo. We believe that the current kids’ entertainment space is ripe for new forms of cross-media content, and we are bringing the values and skills we have honed over eight years of producing award-winning interactive entertainment to this exciting new landscape with Tee and Mo. Premiering online is the obvious way to begin a relationship with your audience and test the waters before exploring the expansion across different media and licensing opportunities.”

Tee and Mo was commissioned by Kay Benbow at CBeebies. The experience will be directed by Dominic Minns and executive produced by Juliet Tzabar at Plug-in Media. Former Head of Broadcast at Aardman Animations, Miles Bullough (Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Creature Comforts) is consulting executive producer.

Juliet and Dom will be over in New York at the Kidscreen Summit next week from the 4th – 8th February.  If you would like to meet with them to discuss acquisition and co-production opportunities relating to this project or get an overview of our development services, then please do get in touch to arrange a meeting by contacting us at: or 01273 783 794.
