TEE AND MO WIN POSITIVE CONTENT AWARD
December 18, 2013 admin
2013 saw the birth of Tee and Mo here at Plug-in Media. In the same year as the two monkeys were launched, we have won our first award! The UK Safer Internet Centre and Childnet International has chosen Tee and Mo as a winner in its Positive Content competition.
The entries consisted of all kinds of online content aimed at children aged 4-12, so we are really pleased that Tee and Mo were able to grab the attention of the judges. Tee and Mo games are designed for children to play with their caregivers, allowing them to share the experience of surfing the web at a young age. We hope that this will lead to a safer internet as children become confident about using the internet with their caregivers talking about what they experience online.
Gareth Cort of Childnet International said: “The judges loved the look and feel of the games and activities on offer, as well as the accessibility provided by the voice over and clear instructions. They also thought the encouragement of shared play and learning was a really positive and important feature that made your entry stand out.”
Tee and Mo are now entered into the European stage of the competition and we’re looking forward to seeing how the brand succeeds at an international level! The winners are all being showcased here and you can vote for Tee and Mo to help them on their way!
We are really delighted to be ending the first year of developing our own IP by winning an award from UK Safer Internet. Look out for more coverage of the award online on Safer Internet Day – 11th February 2014.
